Montreal's own Counterclock launched their CD "Salvation" on october 5. I first checked out this dynamic alternative rock outfit at the 2004 IROC finals where they gave out an energetic performance. Singer Melissa Garand has a great projecting voice in the styles of today's favorite female power groups such as No Doubt. She is not a woman to be standing in the shadows as she puts heart and soul into every show leading a very versatile and tight band composed of Alex Rock (lead guitar), Corey Scott (bass), Bernard Bastien (guitar and back vocals), and Eric Portelance (drums).

Their music can be described as a transcending emotional rock ride. Their songs are not just linear chords pulled together but rather a series of a well layered puzzle pieces of creativity.
