From the tightly packed lobby room at L'Usine C, anticipation was high in the air as over 150 people including Quebec artists, friends, and media gathered for Dany Bédar's Écoute-moi donc CD launch. Fresh off the Boombox tour involving big names such as Boom Desjardins and Richard Pelland, Dany gave an intimate performance to showcase some of the pieces off his latest album of which "Y'a du monde" and "Écoute-moi donc" have already begun to make a deep impact.

At Francofolies this summer, well over 30,000 people attended his performance, the largest gathering of an audience on the outdoor main stage. Within a city that is submitted to constant mutation of new music trends, the singer-songwriter reflects back to some of the root sounds and storytelling of our province's history of great music.
