It's been 35 years since the historical recording of
John Lennon and Yoko Ono echoed room 1742 of the Queen
Elizabeth Hotel. Over 100 of Quebec's finest artists
have gathered and released the 35th Anniversary re-recording
of "Give Peace A Chance" with profits going to Amnesty
Internartional celebrating the original June 1st
1969 bed-in. A video and CD single, which is now available
at Archambault, launched on August 17th. Boom Desjardins,
Justin Trudeau, David Usher, Nanette Workman, and In
This Life, were big participants in this movement to
protect human rights worldwide.
Donald
Tarlton and Janie Duquette from DKD were there to open
the evening as the world premiere of the video screening
Support
