Dare to Care Records rebrands as Bravo Musique

As of Sunday night, Dare to Care Records has rebranded as Bravo Musique.

The change coincided with a television appearance by Béatrice Martin, better known as Coeur de Pirate, on Radio-Canada talk show Tout le monde en parle.

Earlier this year, Martin revealed she had reached an agreement to purchase Dare to Care Records and has since become President and A&R.

Last summer, the label came under fire for fostering a toxic work environment and even saw some of the artists on their roster accused of sexual assault.

Dare to Care Records was founded in 2000 by Éli Bissonnette and Hugo Mudie. Artists who have been signed to the label over the years include Martin (as Coeur de Pirate), CLAASS, We Are Wolves, PAWA Up First, Kandle, Socalled, Fanny Bloom, and Jean Leloup.
