Like many local live music events, Montreal’s outdoor electronic music festival, Igloofest has announced that it will be going online for its 2021 edition.
By way of a social media post earlier today, organizers proudly announced, “SURPRISE! Igloofest 2.0 edition is happening in 2021! Winter warriors, you guys are everything but deceivable, most of y’all have probably already mourned our yearly gathering for this edition (it’s cool, we don’t blame you). We will be there, of course, but not quite in our usual form. This year, your favourite winter festival will be presented in a coco friendly and well-distanced mode.”
Igloofest usually runs through part of January and February at the Jacques-Cartier Quai in the Old Port. The virtual edition of Igloofest will run from January 14 to February 6. There is no word yet on a potential line-up.
