Historica Canada’s latest Heritage Minute pays tribute to infamous Little Burgundy pianist, Oscar Peterson.
The 60-second capsule takes broad glimpses at Peterson’s life — from his first piano to his struggles as a person of colour to his eventual breakthrough on the jazz music scene.
Peterson passed away on December 23, 2007 at the age of 82.
