M for Montreal is going virtual this year.
Festival organizers opted for the latter option instead of cancelling or postponing the annual celebration of Montreal up-and-comers altogether.
As with past editions, this year’s edition will feature a mix of live performances and online industry panels.
Montreal artists being highlighted this year include Alex Nicol, Edwin Raphael, Flore Laurentienne, Janette King, Laurence-Anne, Maude Audet, Paul Jacobs, Population II, Shay Lia, and Totalement Sublime.
They will each perform live as part of 2 free showcases: Le Montréal Magique Musique Show and The Montreal Magic Music Show.
The Montréal Magique Musique Show is scheduled for November 18 at 9 p.m. and will feature performances from Flore Laurentienne, Maude Audet, Totalement Sublime, Population II and Laurence-Anne.
The Montreal Magic Music Show is scheduled for November 19 at 9 p.m. and will feature performances from Alex Nicol, Edwin Raphael, Janette King, Paul Jacobs, Shay Lia.
Closing night will be anchored with a paid live streaming concert from Mac DeMarco and Jo Passed.
