In my ad, I specifically say that I'm looking for experienced musicians, and my style of music is in the pop/rock or hard/alternative rock genres, with a list of influences. At least 4 out of 5 responses I've gotten from my ads have been either 1) Hey, I've been playing guitar for 6 months, never been in a band and have no experience, we should start a band together! or 2) We're a heavy metal/industrial/indie-dance-synthpop band, you sound right up our alley!

What is with people?!?!?! Why waste my time and yours if it's so clear that each of us is not what the other wants?!
