POP Montreal announced this week that applications for the 20th edition of the independent music festival are officially being accepted.
In an online statement, organizers acknowledged the hurdles caused by the ongoing pandemic yet remained optimistic.
“It’s been a difficult year for everyone and there is a lot of uncertainty in the air, but we remain hopeful for what the future holds. We acknowledge that it’s not business as usual since we don’t know what things will look like yet, but we’re moving ahead with planning the festival.”
Solo artists and bands can apply to play this year’s edition of the festival by filling out this online form.
The 2021 edition of POP Montreal is set to run from September 22-26. More at popmontreal.com.
